A modular lamp that can easily converted into a table or floor lamp, great range of movement and flexibility to accommodate the needs of designers. App control, with modular LED replacements.

The result is an industrial feel lamp that can be used as a desk lamp or floor lamp, aluminum arms provide excellent rigidity while being lightweight. Modular connection allows the upper part of the lamp to be moved around quickly, 3 different bases can suit most use cases.

Modular LED replacements

Referencing standard E26 socket size, using magnets as the mounting mechanism, smaller bulb size overall.

Afterthought

  • Friction hinge does not provide enough strength to hold the weight of the lamp. Switch to hydraulic assisted hinge or spring-loaded hinge.

  • The joints could be made lighter, hallow out or better material.

  • An additional bearing is needed on the outer ring of the base joint for better support and smooth operation.

  • A cable sleeve is needed to protect the wires from wear and tear.
